Deep audit

Every check reviewed by a person, with the evidence attached.

The free scan tells you what is broken. The audit tells you why it is broken on your store, what assistants say today when a shopper asks for what you sell, and the order to fix things in.

What you actually receive

  1. A full scan of every check

All 11 checks run against your live store, marked Good, Needs work, Broken, or Inconclusive. We keep the result, so the re-check compares like with like.

  2. Manual review of each finding

Automatic checks throw up false alarms. A person opens your store, repeats every finding by hand, and drops the ones that are just quirks of your theme. What is left is real.

  3. AI-answer sampling, recorded

We ask several assistants the questions a shopper would ask, and record the answers word for word, with dates. It is a snapshot of one day, not a ranking, and we label it that way.

  4. A prioritised fix roadmap

Every fix in order of points gained against work needed, with the size of the job, whether a developer is required, and which ones your theme will undo at the next update.

  5. A 30-minute walkthrough

We read the report together, so you can decide what to do yourself and what, if anything, to hand back to us. You are not expected to buy the fixes from us.

What the sampling looks like

These two cards are invented examples. The sample report they come from is a real measurement of a store that consented to it, published with the store and product names changed. Each card shows the question, the date, and whether the store was named.

"Maternity jeans that still fit after the baby arrives, under US$90"
Not surfaced Fictional example · Assistant A · 4 August 2026

Five shops named, none of them this store. Every shop that was named shows a price and a stock status on the product page itself.

"Does Fernwick Maternity nursing wear come in petite sizes"
Partial Fictional example · Assistant B · 4 August 2026

The store was named, but the answer said the sizing was not stated. Nothing on the measured pages answers a sizing question in words.

What sampling is and is not.It is a dated record of what a few assistants said on one day. It is not a ranking, and it will not repeat word for word, because these systems answer differently each time. We ask the same questions again after the fixes, so at least the comparison is fair.

What this does and does not promise

What you get

  • Plain facts about your store that you can check yourself
  • A score you can re-run after any change
  • A written reason for the order we put the fixes in
  • Dated evidence of what assistants said, before and after

What nobody can sell you

  • A place or a mention in any assistant's answer
  • A ranking position, or movement in one
  • A visitor or sales figure credited to this work
  • Certainty that an assistant will behave the same next month

Sample report

See exactly what you receive

A full audit-style report, start to finish: the score, all 11 findings with the fix for each, the fictional AI-answer examples, the fix list in order, and the draft files a developer would apply. It is a real measurement of a store that consented to it, published with the store and product names changed. Nothing is held back for the paid version, and it includes a check that got worse, because that happens.

How to start

  1. Run the free scan

It takes about half a minute, with page speed added within a few minutes, and it gives us the starting point we would otherwise charge you to work out.

  2. Email the report to us

Send it to ben@schemacart.com with the number of products you sell. We reply with a fixed price and a start date, or tell you the audit is not worth it yet.

  3. Five working days later

The report, the fix list and the evidence, then the call. Payment terms and limits are in the terms. An audit is a one off, with no subscription attached.

Start with the baseline

The audit starts from a free scan either way, so there is nothing to lose by running it now.
